Hi! My name is Sandra Uloko. Here are a few interesting things about me.
This is my personal website that I created using a website called glitch. It was introduced to me as part of a program that I enrolled in known as "Girls Who Code". This program gave me the opportunity to branch out of my comfort zone to trying something that I have never tried before. It introduced me to computer science. I find it funny because if you would have ever asked me if I would want to take a comuter science class, never in my life would I say yes and mean it. But I actually found myself one day, applying for this program. I applied becasue I would recieve countless emails about it from my councelor and she actually suggested that I apply. I never expected it to be easy,and trust me it wasn't. But for this to be my fist website to make, I am proud of my accomplishment and how dedicated I was. This is an experience that I will never forget and I know for sure that my new found skills will come in handy sometime in the future.
I am a 16 year old high school student at Curtis High school, located in New York.
I am currently in an LPN program at curtis and will soon be entering my final year of high school!! It is both a joyful and sad feeling at the same time. I aspire to become a doctor in the future and use my skills to help others. I especially want to start by helping my country back in Africa. There is a lack of medical resources in many areas and I want to give back in any way I can. I have faith in God and in myself that I will be able to positively impack the lives of others.
Another intersting fact about myself is that I absolutely love to dance. I've been dancing for as long as I can remember. Most likely even while I was still in diapers. I have done all forms of dance styles including: African, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Theater, and hip hop.I have a strong passion for dance and it's the only way that I will actually exercise.
I have two siblings; an older sister and a younger brother. I love being the middle because I have my sister who can mentor me as I grow up, and then I can also be a mentor to my younger brother.
I absolutely love to travel. One of my favorite places in the world to visit is Disney World. I have been there countless amount of times and I am never tired to going there. Although, my dream vacation would be to visit Paris. It is a place that I have wanted to go to for as long as I can remember and I can't wait for it to become reality. The thrill I get from traveling is to just be surrounded by my family and friends and make memories while exploring the world.
Another fact about me is that one of my favorite hobbies is to read. I can read novels for hours upon hours without getting tired. I love how I am able to picture scenes from a book and make the characters look the way that I imagine them to.
